We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean and decorated well and taken care of. The house was big and lovely and the beds were big enough for everyone to stay in. It was on a nice property and had a lot of amenities and great things in the house. We only had 1 issue really and that was the electric going down in some outlets and then the lower floor but it was fixed quickly with the owners proactive help. This was a great house for a stay with this many people. The listing for floors was a little different than how it was listed online. Some bedrooms were in different places than we thought just by reading the listing, but it didn’t ruin our stay. We enjoyed the property and location and all the amenities. Would definitely recommend. |

Property was not clean or ready at check-in; waited outside ~2 hrs for cleaning. Same day, found a disconnected smoke detector and cigarette odor in the basement despite a no-smoking listing. Later reported unresolved issues: dirty grill, loose faucet, missing lamp knobs, non-working shampoo/conditioner pumps, damaged cabinet hardware and stair trim. Most seriously, a recurring cockroach infestation: an isolated sighting day one, escalating by the final night to cockroaches of all sizes across the pool area, some entering an adjacent room. With young kids asleep and hotels unavailable over the July 4th weekend, we relocated upstairs rather than leave. Photos/video of each incident were shared with the property throughout. Communication was dismissive throughout, first sighting called a one-off, repeated follow-ups needed as issues continued, and the evasiveness carried on after checkout. Not an isolated inconvenience, it affected cleanliness, safety, and usability the entire stay. |
